Hey! I guess this is the page where I tell you a little about myself. Well, that bald-headed mug you see to the left, that’d be me. Come on, what’d you expect? Some people are meant to stand in front of the camera, while others behind the camera. I am the latter. Currently I reside in the Watertown, New York area, with my wife, Carleen, and our son Liam. I took a few photography classes in high school and that was it – I knew what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Started my trip to becoming a professional at Onondaga Community College and from there transferred to the Savannah College of Art & Design. Like many of these stories go, I had to actually get a job when I graduated. I kept up with photography as best as I could, switching to digital when my son was born. Quit my job about a year later to take care of my son full-time, which also gave me an opportunity to photograph some friends kids on occasion. Which takes us up to now and you reading these sentences.
Why choose me to be your photographer?
You would choose me to be your photographer if you’re looking for something unique, something with style , something that expresses who you, your family or your child are as individuals. Also, my lighting setup is minimal and as portable as I can make it, so it’s very easy for me to pack it up and bring it to your home or wherever is convenient to photograph you. And I don’t skimp when it comes to customer service. You get personalized attention from the minute you schedule your appointment all the way through and beyond the final sale.
What can you expect when being photographed by me?
I am not the typical “portrait studio” photographer. Although I do pose most of my subjects, the posing is minimal; I prefer the person I’m photographing to be natural and relaxed. I enjoy taking the time to get to know my subjects in order to better show their personality in the final prints. I usually spend a few minutes before shooting to talk with anyone that’s going to be in the picture. From that, I can better gauge what style of photograph I need to take.
